Hannaford Supermarkets and Keep Local Farms raised $10,500 last year and this year we are gearing up to do it again. February 1st to February 28th, Hannaford customers can contribute $1 or $5 at the register and 100% of the money raised will go directly to Keep Local Farms.

In addition, customers who purchase participating brands (listed on left) will have a portion of their purchase go to Keep Local Farms. With the help of organizations like Hannaford and people like you, Keep Local Farms can continue to make a difference for local dairy farms.

Dietary Guidelines for Americans: Three servings of dairy important to good health
asdf asdf

The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans were released on January 31st and they continue to encourage three servings of low-fat and fat-free dairy products every day as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

The Guidelines recognize that dairy foods promote bone health, help reduce the risk of certain diseases and are an affordable, appealing way to get great nutrition! Americans are currently consuming about two dairy servings per day so adding just one more serving of dairy can help meet recommendations and achieve better health. Remember to "Pour One More"!
