Calling all students!
Now that school is back in session after the holiday break it’s the perfect time for students to get involved with community programs like Keep Local Farms.
Students have the ability to really make a difference within their school and community. Organizing events, educating consumers and rallying public support is important for Keep Local Farms and it also helps students gain experience in Community Relations.
To find out creative ways your club, sorority/fraternity or group project can help Keep Local Farms visit the “Get Involved” section of Keeplocalfarms.org. Also, if you would like to share ways your school has helped or if you have any new and creative ideas, be sure to post them in our comment section below.
Together we can make a difference and help New England dairy farms continue to produce fresh, wholesome products and maintain open land for beautiful scenery, recreation and wildlife habitats.
