Farmers! Be sure to join Keep Local Farms!
Over the past few weeks we have discussed everything consumers can do to help support Keep Local Farms (KLF) and the local dairy farms, so now it is time to talk about the New England dairy farmers and what they can do to be a part of KLF.
We invite all New England dairy farms to join us by becoming a member of the New England Family Dairy Farm Cooperative. As a member, you will be eligible to receive all the benefits KLF has to offer, including a yearly or bi-yearly payment based on the money KLF has raised. Also, as a KLF member, you can send us your farm profile and share your story with consumers. This is a great way to spread the good word about modern dairy farming practices and the commitment of dairy farmers in caring for their animals, protecting the environment, and producing sustainable, nutritious and safe products.
